Hi, I’m Stacye! It brings me pure joy to partner with organizations like yours, working hard to make the world a better place! My career has taken twists and turns that gave me precisely the experience you would want in a consultant like me. I began my professional journey as a Chemical Engineer, launching my career in the semiconductor industry, delving deep into process technology research. When I was ready for a change, I transitioned into Program Management to get a broad view of the organization and determine where I’d like to “go deep” next. But then I stayed! I found that I loved Program Management, leading a cross-functional group of subject-matter experts to achieve a common goal. Inspired to get my certification in project management, I used my skills in various industries, earning additional certifications in strategy, process improvement, and change management. At Booz Allen Hamilton, where I served as a PMO (Project Management Office) consultant with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), I discovered that consulting was a great fit for my skills. In 2014, I struck out on my own and launched STB Consulting, where I consult and coach nonprofit leaders in the areas of strategic planning and project management. Though my current work is far removed from my days as a chemical engineer, I bring both my engineering mindset and collaborative demeanor to the table when partnering with clients to help them solve their toughest challenges on the way to positive change.
